The title of this treat should be "Trump desperately tries to distract from Puerto Rico disaster"

Later on a Sunday afternoon Trump was scheduled to spend at the Presidents Cup golf tournament, at Liberty National in New Jersey, he added: “Being nice to Rocket Man hasn’t worked in 25 years, why would it work now? Clinton failed, Bush failed, and Obama failed. I won’t fail.”

 

He doesn't even realize that he is talking about two different persons. Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un are not the same rocket man.

Actually, people voted from Trump cuz he campaigned on pulling out of wars, he made some comments here and there but he always advocated for less intervention. Just like Obama campaigned on pulling out of Afghanistan and Iraq, how did that go?

It doesn't really matter what he campaigned on. He's a lying piece of human filth and it was obvious from the first week of him campaigning that he will lower the bar for US politics forever. There is absolutely no excuse for voting for a piece of ego with no sense of self. Not even Hillary.

And right now he is playing with both Korean and US lives just to act on his ego. Obama always tried to ease tension with both Iran and NK and now this piece of shit comes along and ruins everything.

People don't realize that his job would be so much easier if the US didn't have to go around defending South Korea or Japan ...

Theres 2 choices. Either carpet bomb or atomic nuke north korea, or prepare for a long and bloody ground assault. Thousands of american soldiers would die. NK has a vaster land army. Both scenarios could potencially be very costly.

 

Though i must say that at this point Trump is playing with fire. I think he is enticing NK to fire a missile at the US/forces or it's allies to be justified in nuking NK. But with statements like this, it's very dangerous because his intentions are clear and he is warmongering. This may motivate NK's allies to be indignated and come to their aid. Beeing that said allies are China+Russia, it's problematic. US has it's own allies aswell and this could all trigger a WW3, just because Trump has no tact.

 

Thankfully, i believe that the Chinese and Russians would be smarter than to take such direct action, but you never know.

Ergh... i'd like to think that a war with communism wouldn't be necessary after a war with fascism. Besides, it would have catastrophic atomic consequences. Its not just NK and US lives. Trump is playing with the lives of everyone in this planet. At this point he is borderline an enemy of humanity.

People here losing their crap. While he shouldn't be posting this on twitter, he certainly does have a point. I mean the past 3 administrations have tried negotiating and failed, so what makes it different this time?



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

@Bold Actually, they'd ditch NK the instant they attack first ... (it's only if the US aggresses first will China try to defend NK)

China does not want to risk facing sanctions for siding with the aggressors and Russia can't even be bothered with all the problems they have and they have no say in the Korean War plus their outside the sphere of influence ... 

There is a 'relatively' peaceful solution and that's letting China annex North Korea while the US and South Korea agree to it ... (I know it sucks for the South Korean's to lose any hope of reunification but if they want their migraines gone they should just let the only reason why North Korea even exist today to turn against them)

What exactly are they negotiating?   They aren't giving up the weapon.  It's done.  Plus, anyone listening to Trump needs to stop because he has nothing to say.  Kim has been doing propaganda forever.  This is nothing.  Also Trump says he thinks more countries should get the nuke so what does he really have to say?

That would be if the US was innocent. But Trump is clearly enticing the guy. Don't expect China to be stupid.


I doubt NK can be anexed while that guy is in power. It would make more sense to unify the koreas though (he would still have to be removed).
