Though i must say that at this point Trump is playing with fire. I think he is enticing NK to fire a missile at the US/forces or it's allies to be justified in nuking NK. But with statements like this, it's very dangerous because his intentions are clear and he is warmongering. This may motivate NK's allies to be indignated and come to their aid. Beeing that said allies are China+Russia, it's problematic. US has it's own allies aswell and this could all trigger a WW3, just because Trump has no tact.

 

Thankfully, i believe that the Chinese and Russians would be smarter than to take such direct action, but you never know.

@Bold Actually, they'd ditch NK the instant they attack first ... (it's only if the US aggresses first will China try to defend NK)

China does not want to risk facing sanctions for siding with the aggressors and Russia can't even be bothered with all the problems they have and they have no say in the Korean War plus their outside the sphere of influence ... 

There is a 'relatively' peaceful solution and that's letting China annex North Korea while the US and South Korea agree to it ... (I know it sucks for the South Korean's to lose any hope of reunification but if they want their migraines gone they should just let the only reason why North Korea even exist today to turn against them) 

That would be if the US was innocent. But Trump is clearly enticing the guy. Don't expect China to be stupid.


I doubt NK can be anexed while that guy is in power. It would make more sense to unify the koreas though (he would still have to be removed).
