Forums - Gaming - Marseille's Gaming Edition (HDMI) Mcable. >>> Switch comparisons with it <<<

So apparently this "wire" has a chip (graphics proccessor) built into the cable, that handles "advanced graphics enhancements at wire-speed up to 120 fps for 1080p games".

So they claim:
Contextual anti-aliasing: removes jaggies without noticeable blur.
Contrast and detail enhancement: increase perception of depth, sharpness and contrast.
High frame rate support: support frame rates up to 1080p120.
Sub-1ms lag: game at your dreamed speed.

No additional hardware or software needed, mCable is a truly plug-and-play solution to instantly upgrade your favorite games.

Here is a exsample of it from their page:

before useing this cable:

This all sounds crazy right? and at 100-150$ who's going to try that right? well Linus Tech tips did.

And whats crazier is that he says it actually works like it says it does.

Its supposedly fantastic for smaller resolutions, and this had me thinking, maybe this is something that could be used with docked Switch games?

Now Im curious... has anyone here tried this cable? was it noticeable in terms of upg to visuals?

It would be nice if a third party dock could incorporate this kind of tech.

Is that picture accurate? Because one thing they say in the video is that the images on the box are obviously inaccurate.

There's probably room enough inside the dock for one:

Its not that much bigger than a normal HDMI cable.

They changed their site up abit.... they had some crazy images before hand :p

I think those are more honest.

If not view the linus tech tip video, he shows it in action.

Im curious if someone with a Switch unit has tried this on it, because it seems like it would be a perfect fit.

Also if any PS4 slim users have one, id love to hear what they thought of it.

I would like to see Nintendo or a third party include it in a dock though.

People use it for PSVR apparently. Very interesting.

Reviewers that tried it, dont think so.

And show pictures of their TV's, taken with a camra, and zoom in, and show it works.

Even the ones that assumed it would be snake oil, and wanted to prove just that, come away impressed by it.

In the linus tech tips video it literally said it wasn't exactly that.

@OP looks interesting although a bit expensive to get just yet, I'd love to see the effects of it on games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey though.
