Forums - Gaming - EA should reboot Fight Night

This was one of the best sports series on the ps3. The fact we don't have a good boxing game this gen is just crazy to me.  Ufc games are selling well.  I'm sure if they made just 1 fight night it could do good numbers.

What you think?

Agreed. Hate UFC in general and as a sport. I like boxing, except when getting punched in the jaw, and used to love fight night

Boxing games always seemed like one of those Mainstays of the gaming industry. I thought it would always have an audience. I agree with you, man. I don't really play them but they need to come back.

Agreed, they should and it shouldn't come every year, 2 titles for a generation is enough if it was made for all platforms

Definitely, the Fight Nights were good fun and the new mechanics they introduced by using the analog stick to punch was awesome. I can’t understand why they stopped it, wasn’t it selling well?

Probably triggering some people, but maybe boxing is a dying sport, and UFC is filling in that gap.

Yeah, I liked the Fight Night series.  I remember Super Punch-Out!! was unlockable in Fight Night Round 2 on Gamecube.

The craziest thing about Fight Night that many people don't realize is that it has crazy legs. It would still be selling tens of thousands a month like years after release.

I love MMA, but i find the games underwhelming when it comes to the grappling and ground game mechanics.

UFC 2 is great while standing, but when it goes to the mat it turns into a joke.

Yeah they seemed to sell well over time.
