Context: stephen curry stated he wasn't interested in visiting the white house. Trump then criticized him and uninvited him, causing LeBron (and others) to rip into him.
What I found disappointed was:
1) Mark Dice as usual being an ass and now suddenly caring about grammar (BLM=blacks looting and murdering - you fucken serious?)
2) amount of people stating he shouldn't voice his opinion
3) racist or bigoted comments towards him
4) people claiming he isn't allowed to disrespect the president
I think this situation just proves that some people can't disagree with you without having to shun or despise you. At the end of the day, I can agree with some users on here and ram heads 24/7, but I'll never go as far as some people have gone with LeBron.
We see people using claims like 'the racist right' or 'tolerant left', but now I realize the dumbasses who even use these quotes nonironically are usually part of the problem. There truly isn't no need to be so toxic. It's quite disappointing as to how some people (cough cough Mark Dice and co cough) deflect criticism by resorting to insults, grammar corrections, and strawmen.
People here say the political threads here are bad, but they honestly feel like a safe space compared to how cruel and rude people can be in these types of topics.
