And what games would they have shown in the past month?

Well Total War: Warhammer 2and Divinity Original Sin 2 are two big exclusives that hit this month. I would love to see some new Battletech info. Given their standings I actually think Bethesda would show Dishonored's new standalone expansion, Microsoft would probably promote the Windows Store with Cuphead and Forza 7 details. Age of Empire 4 info? At least dev interview. And Hello Neighbor would be great to see.

I see nothing wrong with it. Means more games. That's never a bad thing.

I think it works fine as it is. It seems better to sprinkle announcements throughout the year, rather than pack them all in to only 2 events. Waiting in between those would be kinda painful I feel.
