Grand Theft Auto IV I say walks off with the most awards. I expect MGS4 and Brawl to walk off with some too. I think some dark horses could be Fallout 3, Brutal Legend, and Little Big Planet.
Spore will get PC game of the year, no question in my mind.

I don't think Brawl stands a chance. It came out early in the year and has never really been a series known for being GOTY material.
In my opinion, it won't be a mainstream game that we're all expecting. Perhaps a new series will pop up under our noses and surprise us. Don't just guess random games that are selling well.

That's why I'm saying wait 3 months (and then 3 months after that and so on) to do predicting. It's fun to speculate but we really won't have a good clue until November or so.
2007 taught us one of the highly anticipated games could be a complete bust (Lair), incredible games may come from out of no where (Portal, Bioshock), good games just aren't good enough to make the already awesome list (Halo 3), and not everything has even been announced yet.

MGS4, best story, best game of the series, will probably have 95+ Average review.
