Forums - Gaming - Poll: My favorite Japanese developer is..

ok
then i say you're right
i was thinking myself the same about enix
but if you take enix out
i still think that with capcom, konami, namco, square the list is very strong
eventhough you are completely right about at least Treasure,
and a longer list could have been an option,
then we could have known more about the finer taste of the vg members..

Absolutely not. Natsume is only deserving because of Harvest Moon and they don't develop it, only publish it for America. Victor Interactive Software, formely known as Marvelous Interactive develops Harvest Moon.

I voted Namco. I must've missed Square on there but it doesn't matter. Square is almost dominating and Namco needed some love. Only 2 votes? LOL. You guys seem to underestimate Namco.
No buddy. You just see the list through Soriku RPG beer goggles. When you see the name Namco you see Tales, Xenosaga. etc. When you see Capcom you see Breath of Fire. When other people see Namco, they see Soul Calibur and Ace Combat. When they see Capcom they see Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. See the difference?

Uh huh...and? There's a difference between a great game and a great developer.

It's betweem Capcom, Namco and Square...
I'll go Capcom

you forgot Mega Man and Street Fighter :)

I voted for Square, meaning Squaresoft, not Squeenix.

you could consider one game or one series not enough to consider a developer good or great

but at least you could poetically say that at one point in past they were the best at one moment,
like you could say that when Rare released GoldenEye, that they at that moment where the best developers of the world..

ehh.. or does that not make sense..
