 Pre-Imperialistic Japan would be a much better fit for that description.

I loved the card game... The rest of it, not so much. I do have to give the game credit for having one of the most addictive side plots ever, though. I couldn't get enough of those damned cards.

And the card game was full of win.  It was so awesome.
