Ubisoft made the best looking Mario game to date, and amazingly it's actually fun too.

I only played it in handheld mode, but the game looked legitimately superb. Not only were the visuals impressive, but they somehow captured that "Nintendo" aesthetic perfectly, something I don't recall having seen anyone else do before.

Ubisoft (or more specifically, Ubisoft Milan) knocked it out of the park with that one. I loved the game enough that I actually felt compelled to go play XCom2 again lol

I have only played it in portable mode, and you can tell it is not native 720p.

The game is just beautiful. I already played something like 8 hours in and it does not stop to amaze me.
This is amazing game for the Switch.

I think it was Ubisoft Paris and Ubisoft Milan (together) working on this title.

They should savor the remaining 7 weeks during which they still hold this distinction.

Dunno, from what I've seen odyssey isn't graphically better.

Pretty good, definitely I will need to buy this game after I get Switch.

Super Mario 3D World ALMOST gets to this level at times, but falls short because of the system it's on and some lack of polish. I almost want to say that 3D world is better because this game's camera is fixed very strictly and it's draw distance is god awful.

But yeah, this game is gorgeous. When it comes to Ubisoft's side projects, they're a really great development studio. When they focus on just making fun games like Kingdom Battles or Rayman, they're one of the better developers currently.
