So? They've been a pretty poor console business partner in the past and since most people in "the industry" use OpenCL anyway, it makes no difference whatsoever.

Nvidia has much better support for there products and are incredibly wealthy so they will be staying around. I have been rather disapointed with AMD for a long time. I went Nvidia over AMD with my new PC for those exact reasons. I can see Nvidia and Nintendo being long term partners and i am excited for them both. AMD has always had the price advantage however there build quality is below that of the more expensive Nvidia chips. When you buy Nvidia you know what your getting.
