New DualShock 4 pads confirmed for Europe

In the market for an extra DualShock 4 pad? Then check out the new DualShock 4 controllers that are heading to Europe this October, in three new flavors!

Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE) has announced the upcoming release of two new DualShock 4 controllers this fall.

First up is a redesigned Crystal DualShock 4, which features direct USB and wireless control options, plus a revamped touchpad that places the lighter above.

In addition, the format holder is also expanding is range of colours with the Red and Blue DualShock 4 pads, and feature the same translucent design as the Crystal model.

All three new DualShock 4 pads will go on sale on October 17.

Note that the Crystal model will not be available in Russia, while the Red and Blue variations are not available to purchase in the U.K.

The news follows confirmation of a PlayStation F.C. DualShock 4 controller, which is launching to coincide with the release of PES 2018 and FIFA 18.

Ahh... direct USB and wireless ctrl? Isn't that what it already does, basically?

My Dualshock 4 v2 has the light above, as well.

What's new aside from the colors?

I really like the Crystal Red and the Midnight Blue versions, I have no need for another controller, but if I do in the future, those will be the two I'll look to buy.

Nothing, it's just new colors.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

That controller actually looks pretty cool, though I already have 2 DualShock 4 controllers which seems to be more than enough.

I have the 2 controls I need

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

I'll probably get the crystal one.

Why no blue or red in the UK?
