Nobody actually claims anythign like this except for people like Crapgamer or Nxtgen720.

Well judging by how the PS4 Pro support was poor and lacking and the Xbox one X support over a 100 games and comes with a BETTER boost mode then the ps4 pro has, yeah I think there is bias against the console because its a much better product on launch, even tough the ps4 pro has done a pretty decent job patching that disaster.

Also I have seen people defending things like no backwards compatability and being happy about it and so on, obvioulsy most people game on PS4 and feel its the better platform, which is fine, but they go in to many lengths to try to destroy the hype around xbox, which is also a pretty good platform.

In the end gamers and critics are hurting themselves because the more companies invest in the console business the better the console business will be and microsoft spent a ton of money getting it in the living room of gamers and they do have quite a large fanbase.

Microsoft needs distractions and secondary arguments since they cannot answer for their bad list of exclusives. Backward compatibility, graphics... all of these things are secondary at mid gen. They should've hit their stride already with making games but they continue to struggle no different than when they entered the industry. There's no bias.... they just haven't been giving the media anything concrete to talk about for nine months. By traditional gaming standards that's very... very bad 

The media have always been biased and probably always will be. The media is paid through clicks now and the best way to get clicks is appealing to the largest possible audience, it is called clickbait, it isn't new and despite your long winded post it is very real and will target whoever they feel will get them rewarded with the most clicks as they try to appeal to the majority.

As for on this site, I would actually say this is probably the least biased media/article wise there is, the fan base is a different story but fans of any console will nearly always be biased as very few are capable of looking past their personal bias, just look at your post as a prime example of that.

PS: As an interesting side note a couple of months ago I was in a discussion with an editor of one of the larger news/review sites and we discussed their use of clickbait. It was rather interesting that he freely acknowledged they did this all the time but justified it by the fact if they didn't do it they would simply go broke in today's online environment, ethics and honesty don't pay the bills.

PPS: he was also adamant to point out the proliferation of clickbait is almost entirely the consumers fault. People are constantly seeking out confirmation bias and will happily click on something that conforms to their beliefs while completely ignoring the more objective non bias articles and that as long as this remains the case then clickbait and biased reporting will continue to be the norm.

You do realise that as of now the Pro has more enhanced games than the X1X will have at launch?! A big number of those games on X1X have already been enhanced for Pro btw.

We'll see about that boss mode btw. No one has seen it in action as of now.
