Which classic would you want to make a return with new 2D visuals? Me, I'd want Alien Soldier

A new Out Run or After Burner with new sprite work would be 👌 too

I'd love a new sprite-based Street Fighter, don't see it ever happening again myself though unfortunately. Now, that may be #1, but my God, so many other possibilities, I don't even know where to start.
2D Mario.Thats a no brainer.I mean, ok we had Mario Maker, but on top of that I want a single player campaign as strong as Super Mario World.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

So much this.

The Megaman Zero series. ZX and ZX Advent were great 2D games, it is a shame they never continued the series.

2D mario games always sucked imo. The classics were too slippery and the new ones are borin
I'd be down for a brand new Streets of Rage or Golden Axe in the old style.
If they really want to push the boat out, go balls deep on a brand new Turrican game. I'd even be happy with a soundtrack.

I know its an opinion but your opinion sucks lol
Speaking seriously, really?Old 2D Marios are as solid as 2D platformers can get.Its really strage, for the lack of a proper words, that someone would find the gameplay slippery.I think this is a living proof that there is no one single game that can appeal to everyone.
