Yakuza 2 remake coming to PS4, according to PSN Store leak
Fancy a Yakuza 2 remake? Then you’ll be pleased to know that SEGA is reportedly working on converting the PS2 Yakuza game for PlayStation 4!

SEGA is developing a Yakuza 2 remake for the PlayStation 4, according to a listing on Taiwan’s PlayStation Store.
Eagle-eyed users on NeoGAF spotted the page for Yakuza Kiwami 2 overnight, although the listing was quickly removed. However, according to a translation of the page, the remake of the action-RPG will utilise the same engine as Yakuza 6.

The PlayStation Store listing contains a release date of December 7, 2017, although this could very well just be a placeholder. SEGA has yet to issue an official statement on Yakuza Kiwami 2, although we expect to hear something soon enough.
This month saw the western release of Yakuza Kiwami, a full remake of the original 2005 gangster-’em-up built from the ground-up for modern hardware. The game was previously released in Japan back in 2016.
