The thing is both Galaxy and BOTW got those scores by not just being exceptional games but by also redfining certain aspects, Galaxy redefined the concept of 3d platforming by using gravity mechanics to open up new design approaches while BOTW redefines the approach to open world games with a design that not only gives absolute freedom but changes what you'd expect from a sandbox game.

Odyssey would not only have to be one of the best platformers released to beat both these games but also have redefine a core aspect, that's something that's not an easy task at all.

Yes, but 97 is already very high score, and you sound like its giving that Odyssey will have higher score than 97.

Odyssey is the only game in this list that is a legitimately respectable game. The rest are little more than corperate cash grabs. CoD hasn't been good for years. Destiny was a mediocre shooter. Shadow of War is microtransaction infested. The original Battlefront was an unfinished joke.
