Found this really interesting map showing the path of the eclipse. Unfortunately, I will not be able to see it.

I have no fucking choice, living in Portland Oregon. It's all we've been hearing about for two months. And we've been getting massive influxes of tourists taking vacation here just to see some 6 minute darkness during daytime. It would be cool if it weren't for the increased tourism and traffic, but nope.

Here in Illinois we will get 87 percent of it. First time in 40 years I guess, although I feel like I saw one when I was in High school just 13-15 years ago. |
I live in California, so no chance for me! I have work anyway haha.
Next total solar eclipse in germany: Sep 3, 2081... D=
Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

I'm going to be one of those tourists lol.
My Family and I live in Vancouver, and are driving 6 hours south to Portland to see it in its fullest extent. Sorry in advance for contributing to the traffic and tourism there lmao
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
I get to see 93% of it, but it falls on the first day of classes and so I will be in a class for the entirety of it. Will get to see the approach as I walk to class though.
I am. I'm in Northern Virginia, so I'm planning to go either to the national zoo or the Udvar Hazy Air & Space Museum.
I saw one a decade ago or so. Turns out it's just the moon passing in front of the sun. Go figure.
