This is entirely dependent on Nintendo's ability to produce more consoles.

Tons of people would have taken this bet 3 months ago. Things have changes since then. PS3 & XBox are selling better than people expected, and the Wii still has supply issues..

i would take this if it was allowed

at some point in 2008 (october/early november is my guess), wii will hit 50%

over holidays, it will briefly lose it due to supply, but then regain for good by february

 Yup and the wording is such that it only required to pass it once and isn't required to sustain it for a win.
