No I'm not, and just for the record he said basically exactly what I knew he was going to say. He was going to do the whole "all sides/both sides" thing and wasn't going to even whisper the word "white supremasist" or "terrorist" (even though he loves the T word when it's any other type of situation, can't say it enough in that case). And that's exactly what he did, right on cue.

Completely and utterly predictable on his part. Right now he is hoping this blows over some what so he doesn't have to talk about it any more, if the heat keeps on him he'll be goaded into reluctantly speaking out more clearly, but for now he's hoping this whole thing can be swept under the rug and he can go back to acting all huff n' tough against little North Korea and taking credit for Obama's economy.

Yes, you are.

"your opinion of him wouldn't change in the slightest regardless of what he said, right?"

Three posts later you're still dodging.

Yes my opinion of him would change, but not to the point where I'd suddenly become a card carrying Trump supporter. Why should I suddenly become a Trump supporter, because he did the right thing for once and fucking denounced white supremasists?

Is that how far we've lowered the bar for this president? That's a sad state of affairs.

Maybe he should just do the right thing, because it's the right goddamn thing to do for a country that he is leader of that and not be expected to have people lick his nut sack because actually did the morally correct thing for a change.

"Well you're not going to like me so why should I do it" is not an acceptable frame of mind for a US president. It is for a 8 year old, sorry if I expect more from a president than that.

And beyond that as I've said before he purposely is doing this for reasons of political expidency, taking advantage of a country's racial divisions for his own personal political gain. This isn't an "accident", he knows exactly what he is doing and how to maintain his support within the white supremasist community (or at least try to keep them in line until 2020, where upon they'll realize they too have been duped).

Well they released the drivers info.

The left is gonna milk this to no end and take advantage of the fact that for once in a very long while it was a white nationalist guy who commited a deadly terrorist act.

So many people are already indirectly accusing everyone at the rally for being responsible for the death by this car attack, which is nasty and dishonest and extremely hypocritical.

^ Things were already a mess on both sides before that sub-human scumbag decided to aimlessly run over people.

Yes it indeed was a mess, but now after the fact that this subhuman maimed and killed these poor pedestrians, all the right wingers attending the rally are being protrayed as bloody murderers while the protestors will be portrayed like humanitarian heroes.

Once and while? lol It happens multiple times a year. Bat shit crazy white right wingers make up 73% of the terror incidents we've had in this country of over the last 16 years. Media generally just won't call it terrorism.

You are dodging the statement entirely.

"He was going to do the whole "all sides/both sides" thing "

are you denying that both sides need to be condemned? so all of the people that the violent protestors on the left have injured and maimed mean absolutely nothing to you?

talk about letting tribalism cause you to lose objectivity, good grief

I think the "both sides" equivalency is gross. There is no "both sides" here as if they're some equal side of a coin. One side is fighting (a lost battle) for racial supremacy. The other side is protesting against their bigotry.

White supremasists are pieces of shit who's sad, pathetic version of America will never come back unless they invent a time machine, which they lack the I.Q. to develop in the first place.

This isn't some debate where it's like "OK black people why don't you try being slaves again or honestly make an honest effort to pretend like it's 1950 again and Latinos have you tried not existing maybe ... who knows maybe you'll like it and in exchange white supremasists will try wearing Air Jordans and not being so mean! There! See! Both sides get something! Isn't this so much better than arguing?". I'm sorry but this isn't two children arguing in the backseat of a car and that whole line of reasoning is disingenous.
