$1 for every complete game wouldn't be a big enough deal for anyone to care. You said after a decade of PSN trophies you'd almost have enough for one $60 game. Wow?

Maybe they're creating some special type of achievement for getting all achievements in a game. I've wondered why MS doesn't have something equal to platinums.

XB version of NiN's amiibo? Actually send you physical trophies for certain achievements that somehow allow for special unlocks that can be used to elevate your online public status?

PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

Who knows if they gave a dollar a game I might have completed 100 games.  It's a smart way to increase play time on xbox.  And we know how much micro love those MAU'S!

While I don't feel I deserve or need anything for completing games that entertain me,  $50-100 for completing 50+ games would be nice.  If MS feel that's too cheap then they can make it $2 per game or $3. The point I make is the same, the amount of money decides how relevant it is.

I presume if xboxs got hacked it would be a problem though as people could give themselves lots of platinums and make lots of money.

As someone else already told you, they have a rewards system in place already, much more lucrative than almost one $60 game per decade.

If they offered more money per completed game it would be worth it and if they did this on top of their rewards system it would be a nice bonus.

So they are claiming a big change that will make you change the way you look at achievments is coming. We know MS are trying so hard to change their fortunes in their battle against Sony. What's the biggest thing they could come up with in this aspect to help them?

To me it would be to allow XBL Gold members to receive free XBL credit for their Achievments. So say they complete all Achievments for a game they earn $1 of XBL credit. Something like that. If Sony had the equivelent, In my career on PSN I would have earn $58 over almost 10 years which isn't a lot but would definitely change the way you look at trophies as they say. You'd probably be more likely to push youself by playing the game longer until you get 100%. That's my idea anyway.

Do you think this is what MS have up their sleeve or do you think something else?

If you had used Microsoft rewards for 10 years (not more than 5 minutes a day) you would've received at least $550 worth of points to redeem stuff like Xbox gift cards and Gold subscriptions.
$1 for completing a game is nothing.

This...

Or actually MS products in general... betweenn rewards.. gold level discounts and cashback... gwg etc... I have pretty much never payed gold and therefore never payed for any of those over 100 GwG... never seen PS deliverying anything remotely close to that level of customer fidelity reward ever in 4 generations.... PS is just the gaming version of mcdonaldisation... glad of where XBox is at and don't want it to remotely look like a PS... as long as it stays viable as it is right now I'm good with that...
