Firstly, Valve are still making games? :O

Secondly, they have a lot of "really popular" characters? The only one you listed that I`ve even heard of, let alone like, is Gordon Freeman

You never heard of Gabe Newell? :D

I don't get it. What is all the fuzz about?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I assume we're saying people are mad because it's not Half Life or anything else like Valve did previously? I could imagine that...if so, I guess they should have just stuck with Steam.

As for a Valve Kart Racing game, the suggestions for powers are neat, but I can't imagine it going over well, in some ways I can imagine such an endeavor going over worse than a card game, because the budget for the card game is probably puny by comparison.

I feel Valve has to something to repair their damaged public perception, and I have the perfect solution: a kart racer.

....lmao,...wut?

No, just hurry up and make Half Life 3!

And in the mean time, if anybody gives Valve more hate, they can play this song :

https://youtu.be/D9ZXCvRj3Q0

It will be like an ultimatum! "IF YOU KEEP HATING ON US[and don't play our card game]WE WILL SHUT DOWN STEAM AND MAKE NO MORE GAMES!"

Jesus tapdancing Christ...that link. It really needed a gunshot sound at the end.

In some ways I'd say it's worse than the card game because at least the card game was probably cheap to make - you can't do a new 4K Half Life on that budget.

So for people who don't know; Valve announced a New game: a card game called Artifact.

The reception has been less than positive, for obvious reasons.

I feel Valve has to something to repair their damaged public perception, and I have the perfect solution: a kart racer.
Valve has a lot of really popular characters, they understand game design, they are perfect for the job.

Chell, she can shoot a portal in front of her that exits a few meters behind her.
This can be used to either portal away from danger, or to punish other players.

Charger, has a short dash that uses up stamina / fuel.
Dash can be used to: avoid attacks, open up shortcuts and / or bump other players.

Gordon Freeman, has a gravity gun and a crowbar.
Pretty obvious what this could do.

Scout, can double jump.
Jump over obstacles and other players.

Add in a couple more characters like Dog, Wheatley, Gabe Newell, Pyro, a few people from Dota, Counter Strike and a few from their other games.
You have a instant classic.

Kart part skins and character skins; instant money.

What do you guys think?
How else could Valve make money off such a game?

Whats there to think? Valve is dirt. The end.

Hunting Season is done...
