Lol, people think Pokemon is coming in 2018? If we're being real with ourselves, Animal Crossing is probably the game that's the furtherst along with the last main game releasing like what, 4 years ago? And after Amiibo festival I'm sure they're itching to bring out the first HD Animal Crossing. 2018 will be Metroid and Pokemon.

Actually, it can. A ton of Splatoon 2's development most likely didn't even take a year, due to the base game already being there.  A ton of assests were re-used and so on and so forth. I'm confident they have had a small team making an HD Animal Crossing for quite some time now, and now that Splatoon 2 is out and was done probably mid-June, they're most likely well underway with AC. Plus, they're already used to HD development and the Switch, so unless they're making Animal Crossing open world, it is definitely entirely possible for it to be out next year.

And New Leaf came out 6 years ago. I doubt they left AC with no dev work whatsoever since then. They already have some HD assets from Amiibo Festival, so it shouldn't take long at all to make AC Switch.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Hm going by what we know so farfor 2018

-Fire Emblem
-Kirby
-Yoshi

Metroid or Pokemon is  not confirmed for 2018 yet.
That is three months already filled. We can expect probably 4 to 5 more game from Nintendo. My guess it will be more handheld franchises. If 2017 showed that the Switch is the successor to the home console line then 2018 will show that the Switch is the successor to the handheld console line. I expect a killer app like Animal Crossing or another handheld franchise to be out next holiday.

I wouldn't mind a port or new version of Super Mario Maker; I've been anxiously awaiting that from day one, and it would probably sell quite well on a system that people actually have.

Pokemon will sell so many consoles that they may be shortages all over again. I also believe that the multiplayer potential for Metroid Prime 4 and the to be announced features of their online service community could make Prime have a showing comparable to what Halo meant for the Xbox.
