Can't we just bomb North Korea to stale mate and move on to the next agenda? We can make North Korea give up on their nuclear ambition.

North Korean manchild sends threats. American manchild returns threats. North Korean manchild possibly following through.

How did we get in this situation?

In a way, we didn't, because it was rather just the other way around:

For decades, american manchilds sent threats. There is a reason why the US is considered the greatest threat by the world's population: The US is by far the most aggressive nation in the world, their government is anything but reluctant when it comes to destroying other countries. Every nation out there is very well aware that if necessary, they'll even invent black propaganda lies to gain public support for such actions (think Powell's "iraqi weapons of mass destruction" or the "Nayirah testimony").

And like two dogs barking at each other, North Korean manchilds returned these threats. That was okay, because as long as dogs are barking, everything's fine. But North Korea knew very well that historically, only one thing has proven to be the ultimate insurance against being attacked by the US: Having the atomic bomb, for the US has never attacked a country having the atomic bomb. While the US military is by far the most powerful military in the world, with a budget as high as almost the complete rest of the world combined, they historically only ever attacked enemies they considered easy victims unable to perform a serious attack on US territory. So basically, every nation out there that fears to be attacked by the US secretly wishes to acquire the atomic bomb. And the US tries to stop these nations from doing so, because the US of course prefers easy victims over serious opponents.

Recently, things are getting a little more concrete: According to reports, the US has developed plans to attack North Korea, using B-1 bombers stationed in Guam. (Unlike the average, rather ignorant mass media consumer) the North Korean government is well aware of these plans, and they reacted to these plans by in return threatening to attack the military base in Guam, in order to eliminate this dangerous threat to their nation.

Anyone who considers that an completely irrational, irresponsible behaviour by the North Korean government should ask himself: How would I feel if I knew that nation XY has developed plans and might already be preparing for a devastating attack on my country from a nearby island? Think "cuba crises" - but times 10, since back at the time the russians were not seriously preparing to actually use the cuban missiles, they were rather just a safety measure and a tit for tat response to the atomic missiles that the US had previously stationed around the soviet union.

Sure!

But considering that most of the world's population consider the US a far bigger threat - a country that not has "nuclear ambitions", but an actual arsenal of thousands of atomic bombs, and still is the only country that has ever proven to be so unethical to actually use these atomic bombs (repeatedly!), it might be a better idea to just bomb the US to stale mate and move on to the next agenda.

Kim Jung Un is so gangster. He had his half brother murdered at a Malaysian Airport by his female assassins. Now he is firing missiles into the ocean. What will he do next?

So, a lot of people think a war against North Korea would be easy. The US military already tried that in the 50s, remember how that turned out? Oh, and back then North Korea didn't have any nukes and they were supported by China, which was a piss-poor country back then. Now imagine a war against an enemy with nuclear weapons and a country with 15 % of the world GDP on their back. Because at the end of the day, I am completely certain that China would support North Korea rather than the US. They wouldn't step in officially, because that would lead to world war 3 with a high probability to wipe out the human race, but they will support North Korea again with weapons, resources and stuff. They don't want the US to take the whole korean peninsula, they made that very clear numerous times in the past.

That's why a war is very unlikely. North Korea is just trash-talking, they won't actually launch a nuke at the US or something. They are trolling them. Sadly Trump is falling for it. I also don't see the US making the first move. Even if Trump is a moron of epic proportions, there are bound to be people on the white house stopping them from making such a stupid move.

No country has the guts to bomb United States without repercussions like the world has never seen. Also, we used atomic bombs because it would've saved a lot more lives in the long run. Too bad for Japan, but they learn to never mess with the bald eagle.

Anyways, Trump needs to keep it simple and needs to stop North Korea from their nuclear ambition. North Korea doesn't really have anything to lose to be quite honest.
