A guy in my class has been saying shit like that. It's because that is the day the store is finished upgrading, so they assume Sony will add in Home while they are at it.

I've been banking on an early summer release.

I hope this is the case, but I've been excited about it way too many times only to be let down again.

Yes in there is Second Life aspect to it, but the best features are the ones for gaming. There will be ways to bring all your friends into a room and launch a game right into home. Special rooms for certain games, allowing for planning before multiplayer matches, behind the scene videos, etc. Id look on Kotaku to read more.

 I agree with you man.  The new store looks really nice.  I like that it is a hardware based store instead of on the web.  It will make it run nice and smooth.  Things like the store update are really starting to make the PSN shape up.

Sony did promise a surprise with the launch of the new Playstation Store... I'm not really expecting (the open beta for) Home next week but it'd be nice.
