Forums - Sony - Home Version 1.00 online, could even be coming next week

Home sweet home!

JUST REMEMBER!!! HOW BIGGER THE SIG, HOW SMALLER THE ****

Around the Network

I still am willing to give Home a shot. I don't expect it to be a system savior or anything, but it may be an entertaining/useful distraction. Free movies and shit might be cool too.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Oh, are they still working on Second Life? I thought they released that years ago.

WOW they said this was the revolution and you know what it is not just a thing in the past. They might as well just give up with it right now. They have other problems like getting people more interested in there system!

People know what the PS3 is, even a 6 year old knows that a PS3 is, everyone knows about it because its a playstation , it just needs games to gain more interest. Sony is sloving that problem with there 2008 line up.

As for the HOME comment, its something that you havent even experienced, saying its a thing of a past makes it seems like the person is un informed.

Who?

If Sony, are you trying to take a shot at them or something?

Second Life has absolutely nothing to deal with Playstation Home.

It might have similarities in many ways but these two are completely different.

HOME... Your delays have caused me to feel like I do not know you anymore. Hopefully we can one day form a new relationship. As of right now I feel I will never see you...

Sorry, I don't keep abreast of these things. I was under the impression that Sony was just porting Second Life to the PS3.

Yeah, so what is home exactly? I've been under the impression of "second life for PS3" as well.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

I don't care if I have to wait for awhile longer. I've waited for a year already, so what's another 6 months or so?

I'm really looking forward to Home though...it's a great way to network with buddies I have across the US. Will definitely save my cell phone bill some minutes.

not gonna happen, if it does then dont expect to get in cuz the servers will crash in minutes. Sony will open Home slowly by gradually allowing more and more people in, I dont believe they'll open it all at once on April 15.

i agree. so many people downloading it at once would fu*k up the servers.

just like XBL when the new CoD4 maps came out. i couldn't even get M$ points till the next day, let alone download the maps.
