Oh boy, a new GTA. I can't wait!
Lifeless city, despite having a trailer of a dog running with its owner, car chases, shootouts, heists, tennis, golf, homeless people looking miserable as a hypercar zooms past them, a glimpse of the main character, etc. They'll have the best looking teasers and trailers released 3 years before the game comes out, showcasing how impressive the city is and how beautiful the graphics are, despite never topping GTA IV physics ever again. It'll be going around the same damn city for hours and hours with nothing worthwhile to do. Delay after delay after delay, which is a trademark of them at this point. But they'll release trailers throughout delays to keep fans hyped.
And GTA Online? Blatant microtransactions for the multiplayer component because they made a bajillion dollars from it on the previous game and they want to squeeze even more money out of it. They'll probably ban money grinding so their Shark Card finances will stay intact. Daddy's gotta buy the 200th pair of shoes. Glitches and exploits that means the game was rushed down the line. And if you even dare attempt one of those money exploits, you'll be banned for the game forever (and your IP Address too). They'll release new updates with new moneymaking schemes. "Hey look, we can now make $1,000 a real-time hour. Swell!" A bunch of reskinned clothing poorly made to get out of the way. And there'll be a bunch of cars, like a hundred billion of them. "That Grotti Turismo Classic sure looks nice, yeah? You'll have to get $1,000,000 in-game cash and 200 GTA Coins for it. Those GTA Coins are our new currency we're introducing to make more people pay us". Properties will be as expensive as ever, despite all of them having the same interior.
I bet I know what they'll do to attract detractors: glue together all 3 cities into one GTA Online environment for maximum fun. Have all the shit youtubers jump on the bandwagon and attract as many 12-year olds as they can with 10-minute long videos with baity clickbait titles, with years and years of mindless speculating. GTA Online: just another MMO.
