How come you don't ever need to prove anything and you expect me to prove claims that I never actually made? I never once claimed they can't actually make the device you want. You keep making up imaginary statements I never actually said, and telling me off for being ridiculous for making these claims I never actually made. You've done it numerous times in this thread, and this is yet another example.

Try and duck it all you wan't.

You claim they can make this device and sell it to the consumer for $99-$149.  Prove it. Put up, or shut up.

Because I don't go and shitpost into someone else's wish list thread saying they can't wish it and claiming my word is gospel and he doesn't know anything. You don't need to prove anything either, unless you're arrogant like you've been saying my idea is bad and you're claims are based on facts. If you had been civil about it and respectfully disagreed instead of being arrogant, doubling down how right you were with your essays, it wouldn't have come to this.

Unfortunately for you, you don't get to decide who is shitposting and who isn't. Remember, it was you who acted like a horse's ass to anyone who told you can get pretty much what your asking for in a PS3, and started your tirade of poor reading comprehension and telling people off for words you put in their mouth ever since then. Once again, you literally just claimed I said something I didn't actually say.

You want to talk about how people should talk to each other on the internet? Take a look in the mirror, and straighten yourself out before you start asking the same from others. You reap what you sow.

This is everything the Vita already is, besides the game disc player.

Two words: Region lock...

There might actually be legal reasons why PS1 and PS2 games are still region locked, and Sony may not have the legal power or desire to change that. To my knowledge I can't think of any region locked console that eventually became region free.

That's true, if you're a shitposter, it's hard to see you're shitposting even though I already broke it down to you. You enter my wish list thread and tell me I can't wish something while being hostile and arrogant about it.

And yet one more example of you claiming I said something I never actually said. Is this like your schtick or something? Just making up nonsense about those who disagree with you?

It's better if you just stop repeating yourself and actually make arguments, your "I din say diz" schtick is getting tiring. It was you who said the thing I wished for is too niche and too costly for Sony, telling people to "carry on, nothing to see here".

Have you considered that perhaps I wouldn't have to point out that you're false claiming that I said things I never actually said if you would just stop making false claims? Is it too much to ask that you just stick to things I have actually claimed instead of just making things up?

I made plenty of valid arguments that you ignorned or dismissed because Sony is an "industry giant", and can do pretty much anything except apparently license games for reasonable prices.

But hey, if you want to keep embarassing yourself, have at er.

You're just repeating things now, like when a little child is accused and all he can say is "I dindo eeet".  For reference, this is the post http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8509746 those were your words, own up to them. And then those essays, my gawd have you nothing better to do. Literally trying everything but being factual to prove how my concept console is a bad idea.

I did make that post. And? Your assertions of things I've said aren't actually contained in that post like you think they are. Because you have poor reading comprehension.

But hey. You want me to give you a response you're looking for, that takes you as seriously as you expect to be taken? Here you go.

"What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence." - Christopher Hitchens

You're all up in arms that your assertions are being dismissed because you aren't actually providing any evidence to support your assertions. The entire basis for your entire reason why Sony can make this device for the price estimate is "Sony is an industry giant". That's it. Sorry, that's meaningless garbage. Sony's "industry giant" status doesn't make the PS4 backwards compatible with PS3, PS2, and PS1 games does it? Sony's "industry giant" status couldn't make them a VR headset that costs less than the console needed to play it, did it?

You think Sony can make a PS1 classic console with all of those features for $99-$149? Prove that statement.  Prove that the Bill of Material of such a device would be reasonable to produce in 2017 for margins that would be acceptable to a company like Sony. Prove that there are no legal/licensing barriers into offering a console that removes region locks that have been in place on every single device that has played PS1 games. Prove that Sony's existing upscalers can be "upgraded" to the level of quality you expect, or prove that Sony can create a better quality one without any IP issues. Finally, you need to prove that there are millions of people would rather spend $99-$150 for such a device rather than buying a PSTV (or similar device) that does most of those.

Put an actual legitimate, sincere effort into actually coming up with a compelling, well reasoned response to all of those things, and you might actually get the responses that take you as seriously as you expect to be treated. But if you're just going to assert that "Sony's a big company, obviously they can do it", then there's not much to your claims, and people are rightfully going to dismiss them.

I dunno why you keep repeating things over and over again even after the fact I showed you your posts which you were too lazy to look up. You're claiming my idea is too costly and Nintendo's solution is the only way. You need to own up to your words and stop interpreting them differently each time. It's on you to prove they can't, I only made a wish list. If you can't grasp that simple concept, you're just trolling at this point. You need to prove why a industrial giant like Sony can't do the console I proposed for $99-149.

All three console makers need to have as much of their previous games made available via PSN, Nintendo Network, or XBL for every gen. Not with this PSNow BS either, but like how they were doing it with the PS3 (needs more PS2 games though).

Nintendo seems to be on track with this, at least from an availability standpoint. VC is available all the way up to the GC on the WiiU (GC is fairly new in this regard). Seeing how the Switch has motion controls in tact, I say throw the Wii in there as well. While the WiiU is feasable, it is not really needed yet as you can still get a WiiU online. If the Switch had even most of their games from every generation (console and handheld) available via VC up to the Wii, that alone would move consoles I feel as it kind of revitalizes older libraries outside of emulation.  Even the DS and 3DS can be included in this as we have seen with Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks on the WiiU.  The Switch screen, like the WiiU is a touch screen and can easily be split as it is big enough to support the dual screens of the DS/3DS.  In fact, I would argue that this is the whole reason the touch screen is there at all.  What they need to work on is their policies however.

Sony has gone backwarda in this regard with PSNow being the main portal for BC. Some may say streaming js tge futurw, but I like owning my games. If I cannot do physical, I would gladly download them so long as they cannot be taken from me (see PT for example). With PSNow however, this is not possible. In this regard, the PS3 is better than the PS4.

MS seems to be moving in the right direction with their BC and digital download policies. In fact, they are the most ahead. Unlike Nintendo and Sony however, they do not have as many classic exclusives to fall back on. However if they continue to make the XB and 360 library available, they will see a positive reception, even if not until their next console (if they make another one).

This is how I feel classics should be handled. I have always viewed the NES classic as a collection item and nothing more, and never got made about stock for that reason. Stick to VC and truly keep these games immortalized IMO.
