that was an excellent game riot, i was training my lucas/ness this morning, and it looks like it paid off ^_^

thats what makes it fun chaos and radomness ! I love fighting and a bomb appears in front of me killing me I laugh like hell.

Your Lucas was great. I really wasn't expecting to lose that match, but you did a nasty combo that put my % up. It looked as badass as the combos my MetaKnight does. Great job!

Fighting games are about tactics, combos, and being able to play your enemy like a puppet. Randomness and chaos makes it all pointless. What's the point if items are going to pop up and make it unfair? Skill is no longer a factor when items are on. It becomes nothing more than a race to the items, which is lame.

Besides a smashball maybe since whenever you hit it, it goes in the opposite direction, but otherwise I agree (On the cheapness). Smashballs are still cheap though >_>. I don't think Nintendo should remove the items though, they make the game better if you want to play with friends for fun and not competition.

I plan on adding the four to my roster. ^_^

this is not your regular fighting game tho this is super smash brothers ....every version has had items even in the main story adventure, classic, boss fights, its part of the game and makes it great. It takes skill too use items ...if you can't time your final smash right it fails or if you hold it too long people knock it out of you. I use to hate items at first too but grown too liking them alot because of the chaos they add. We can argue 24/7 but it won't go no where :) its a toss up between people like playing with and without items.
