Forums - Nintendo - Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will cost $50 on Switch

Doesn't the Switch version include all the DLC. If so, that's actually a $40 discount. Xenoverse 2 with the season pass was $90

If it included the season pass and stuff the price would be much better but I am pretty sure its just the base game, sadly.

A bit pricey, but if it gets a price cut, then that would be worth it

It's weird to me how many titles on Switch have been sold at such a high price and people barely care. Disgae 5 is 60$ and I think I am Setsuna was originally 50$?

I have had a Switch since launch and I can confirm that Setsuna has always been 40 dollars, at least as far as actual final retail price goes.  Disgea 5 also has all of the DLC, makong the 50 dollar price point justified.  If Xenoverse 2 has all of the DLC (it likely does) then 50 bucks is a steal and you can even play on the go.  The retail version of the vanilla game on other consoles do not matter because these are complete versions that have the value of the vanilla version plus all of the DLC, which evens out or in some cases exceeds the value of getting the same content on the other platforms.  It goes deeper than (the game is more expensive on the Switch) because these particular games always have all content included with it.

OT:  This is pretty cool news.  Would have payed 60 for it, but this is even better.

Its probably like 30$ on PS4 & XB1..... its a game from early 2016 right? unless I have it mixed up.

Yes but bear in mind the PS4 and X1 versions do not have the DLC included.

Isn't this on the other systems too? How much do those copies cost?

Other than that, 50 USDs is a good price. Not sure if I'll buy it yet...

Ok, I didn't know that. Still feels overpriced in general.

So it was meant to be $40, but cartridges are expensive so they bumped it up to $50 just like every other publisher has done so far.

From what i've heard, it included pre-order bonuses, and also like the first Xenoverses main storyline as well. So you do sort of get Xenoverse 1 & 2 in the same game.

But yea, the other DLC, mainly the Super characters are all still excluded and need to be purchased seperately.
