It's going to look like that on PC.

Looked pretty good and in my opinion better as everything yet released on consoles but it didn't look so much better as some other games to be like "not possible in 2018"

It did look much better as Destiny 2 but Destiny 2 is not really a graphical showcase. Horizon looks already not much worse as Anthem and I'm sure games like The Last of Us 2 will look even better so why not Anthem as well?

I dont doubt it to look like that at Ultra settings. Horizon still looks better. The game just looks bland af tho, such a generic art style. You look at Destiny or BGE2 and it immediately catches the eye. Generic exosuit, generic hud, generic forested ancient ruins, scifi setting etc. I can already imagine the boring grinds in these vast unmemorable generic open spaces.

This is why Obsidian need to make AAA RPGs again. Obsidian, CDPR and now Guerilla Games the top RPG devs in business. Bioware is dead.

I think people are mostly skeptical because of how smooth it looked, but it was running on an Xbox One X so it's not too surprising.

You know it really is sad that Evolve died, that was such a cool concept. If Anthem has cool missions where you get to fight the overworld monsters, I might pick it up, but it being in 3rd person with Destiny-like combat will probably make it boring. 

More online garbage imo.

As good as the game might be, unless it's got a good mp it won't survive. I can't see a tps mp game having the longevity of a fps like destiny.

For coop, it will all come down to end game content, additional story dlc, bosses and loot.

The thing I hope destiny learns from Anthems video is making the planet look alive. Watching animals hunt and fight each other was awesome. Destiny 1 as a whole was pretty lifeless outside of enemies.

This is something that Horizon and far cry did pretty well and anthem looks to have improved on it.

Also, destiny seems to have learnt about content. It looks like they have added to what was in one and they will probably bring back the arenas like PoE, CoE and Archons Forge. If you made a list of activities from Destiny 1,it would be pretty extensive. Anthem will need to match that at the very least.

Yeh. Count me in this camp. It in no way looks out of step with it's contemporaries. Very purrty tho.
