Please, people, stop spelling his name wrong. It's Pachter, not Patcher. You're driving me mad. I know a lot of his predictions have hurt us all dearly, but no man deserves to have his name butchered so frequently, especially when it's such an easy name.

Pachter may me low on accuracy for an analyst, but he's far more accurate than other analysts.

Perhaps, we're just having high expectation because he's carrying a specialist title. And we're jealous and would flame him because we are more accurate but lacking any title.

Patcher, er i mean Pachter is probably sitting on reading all these posts and he is prob laughing at us all. But then so could the Shigs(MIYAMOTO) and probably many others who are famous.

 I also hear they have cookies and warm milk for the people who really like the hard stuff.

 Yeah, sometimes folks can be a bit hard on Pachter. You have to give the guy credit though, he puts his name out there with his predictions that thousands, if not millions, will read about. EGM runs a feature every issue where they talk to people in "the biz" about their jobs, and Pachter was in the latest issue. He was upfront about some of his mistakes in the article. Let's face it, if all of our predictions were scrutinzed under a microscope, we'd all look pretty foolish at times.

 It's crazy the amount of education the guy has, a lot of which probably isn't necessary for what we do(simply predicting sales). There is a lot more boring, technical stuff that his job entails though, like advising people what stocks to purchase. More power to him, I say.
