Well, no, the the PS4 is the most wanted console. When the recently launched Switch can actually outsell the 4 year old PS4 instead of getting outsold 2:1 every week, maybe you will be right.

What a fallacy that people keep bringing up. The PS4 is enjoying its best year ever so far, it's selling better than during its launch year. And that's not surprising as the console is cheaper now and has a much bigger library.

And most-wanted doesn't equal most sold. Switch is supply constrained. Just look at Amazon, it's being sold for €420 without a game bundled in. You can buy two PS4's for that. So yes, Nintendo Switch is the most wanted console at the moment. How do you think the base PS4 would sell on Amazon if it costed €420 without a game bundled in? Hint: it wouldn't sell at all.

Ps: Vgchartz numbers don't reflect reality.

You're right, VGChartz numbers don't reflect reality. They are actually undertracking PS4 by over a million so the PS4 is actually doing even better than the already monstrous sales we're seeing now and is outselling the whole dedicated hardware market, including Switch, Xbone, Wii U, 3DS, PS3, 360, you fuckin name it, combined. PS4 is obviously the most wanted console and has been for years now which is why it continues to sell more year after year than the previous year ever since it launched in 2013 despite selling extremely high numbers every year, way bigger than the PS3, 360 or the 3DS could ever manage to pull off. Even in the PS4's lowest selling full year (2014) it still sold more than the PS3 or 360 did in their best year. Switch will get outsold heavily by the PS4 once again even in 2018, why? Because the PS4 is the most popular gaming system there is and will be until Sony decides to release the PS5 in 2021 or something.

It's almost like onecof them is suffering from massive shortages due to a severe shortage of key components.

All indicators we have show the Switch would outsell the PS4 if it had sufficient stock.

Yeah you have no indicators, just wishful thinking. Obviously if the Switch didn't have stock issues it would sell more, but the PS4 will sell nearly if not more than 20 million this year and all i can say is you're nuts and blinded by hope if you think the Switch could sell that much only if it had sufficient stock

No, what you've been seeing these last few weeks is vgchartz over-compensating because they undertracked the PS4 in the past. If you don't know how this site works it's best to not comment at all. The only trustworthy sources we can use are data from the hardware manufacturers themselves, NPD figures and Media Create/Famitsu in Japan. Amazon ranking is also a good indication as the console that's #1 in the monthly ranking usually also wins NPD for that month.

You're going to be sorely disappointed once the Nintendo Switch supply constraints are fixed. And good luck outselling the Switch once a main-line Pokémon game releases on it.

No, I've just been following these charts a hell of a lot more closely than you have.  Every single time the Switch has been available at regular price it has shot up the list and completely burried everything else.  The system is being sold at a $120 markup and still sales on Amazon are very close between it and a PS4 marked down by $40.  The high demmand for Switch is flat undeniable at the moment.  The PS4's current run at this moment is due to a fire sale.

I'm not saying the Switch will catch up to the PS4 lifetime.  But I'm very confident the demand *right now* is more than sifficient to beati it *at this present time*.  We'llhave to see about the holidays.

I'm not blinded by anything jack.  The only one not seeing clearly here is you.

You dont seem to understand numbers at all. The PS4 sold 60.4 million as of June 11th, which means it sold over 7 million units as of June 11th in 2017. VGchartz and the made up weekly numbers means absolutely nothing when we have actual sales numbers from Sony themselves lol. Since we have those numbers, we know PS4 is outselling the Switch by a massive amount.

In regards to your pathetic "wait till switch actually gets stocked and pokemon releases, then you'll be sorely disappointed" line, im shaking in my fucking boots lol

And you also have Switch numbers apparently? Lol.

And you used the last few weeks of vgchartz numbers to boast. I simply explained to you that those numbers most likely don't reflect reality. PS4 is selling very well, but it's not selling 340k per week in June...

I'm surprised how people  can still be convinced that the Switch isn't heavily supply constrained lol. Look at the Most Wished list on Amazon, Switch is currently #1.

Nintendo doing well seems to really bother some people.

Im not even talking about amazon, im talking about how the Ps4 has been selling this entire year lol. The PS4 has sold like 2 million more than it did last year in the same time frame, its straight beasting, and those numbers came before any "fire sale" on amazon happened. Yeah, I know you're not saying the Switch will catch the PS4 lifetime, I never said you did. I responded to your post claiming that "All the indicators point towards the Switch outselling the PS4" and you gave me nothing other than when the switch gets some stock on amazon, it shoots to number one. That's obvious shit man, a product that has high demand with low stock, will obviously sell out quickly once stock is replenished (especially when the amount of stock. that is replenished is very low).

by the way your first sentence about you following the charts closer than i have is cracking me up cus its so false you have no idea lol

Nope, Nintendo doing well makes me quite happy actually, dont know where you got that last line from, your pathetic fanboy ass maybe? Keep playing the victim you big baby lol. This is called a discussion about sales, you said moronic shit and im here to argue against the moronic shit you said cus no one else does, stay in the nintendo discussion if people telling the truth hurts your feelings. I know you like making shit up so you can feel better or whatever but we like truth here, which is obviously why you're so damn salty all the time
