It seems that the next SMT is really a mainline netry.I saw on the stream a V(so 5 in roman). And so far, it seems that its Switch exclusive.

Edit:And it was an awfully small trailer.Even if it was nice to know its a mainline entry, it was lame that it was so small and no gameplay. On the plus side, it seems that they will use the Persona 5 art direction, because the art seems quite similar(and really pretty to boot).

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

It's not using the P5 engine.  It's using Unreal Engine 4.

And what little they showed did look like representative in game footage.

Yeah, I just realized the nonsense I wrote. But even then, it seems, at least from the little footage it was shown, to be somewhat close to the P5 artstyle.Probably wont be as stylized.

And yeah, hopefully. So that by the next direct they can really show a decent chunk of the game.

Unreal Engine 4 is profoundly flexible in the right hands.  Compare and contrast what we saw here with Dragon Quest XI (PS4), Yoshi Switch, and Gears of War 4.

Yeah I know, I know.It just really felt P5 like, specially in that train-like station. So I had to say that!

Here's the trailer

The 3DS game must be something separate then as V only mentions Switch in the trailer, IV was a beefy game although Nocturne is beastly so anything combining these two will be welcomed.

Someone had a thread predicting AC will be released in 2019, they might be onto something as the is an ND on Wednesday revealing the app.

http://nintendoeverything.com/animal-crossing-direct-announced-for-wednesday-in-japan-mobile-game-to-be-revealed/

Even though this is for the app keep in mind Pokemon Go released then the following years Sun and Moon arrived, Fire Emblem's app was out February and we had a 3DS remake and next year we have Fire Emblem on Switch. AC's app surfacing signals their intent.

Sorry random question but what does UI stand for?? I know it's something to do with what information is displayed on screen but what do the actual letters stand for?
