Forums - Nintendo - I think SNESSuper Famicom Mini is a rip off. Why I suggest not buying.

So the OP has yet to respond. I suspected as much when I first saw it, but now it's pretty clear what type of thread this is.

It's perfectly fine to go out and pay for the games if you don't want to be a pirate, it's just what they're offering costs too much here. I don't know why it's more expensive than the last mini they made. When I think about the Sega Genesis classic console, that puppy was loaded with 80 games for 50 bucks. I don't understand why Nintendo is so keen to start these feeding frenzies with their products when they're not offering better value in return.

I agree.  I bought the Intellivision with 60 games and the Atari 2600 with 60 games for $39 each.  Full consoles with 2 controllers each

It is near the end of the end....

People still hold the Nintendo name in high regard whereas the SEGA name has lost its luster over time.

And SNES games on average are worth more than NES games, which is why they're charging more for seemingly less. Not to mention this system comes with two controllers with longer cords.

This is such a legendary console. Revolutionary even. It set so many standards the entire industry follows to this day. Many people want it for sentimental reasons.

I dunno, bro. Both involve data that doesn't belong to the person 'copying' it and lost revenue to the victim. Not to mention that anyone on the street would definitly call identity theft a form of stealing. It looks like both popular opinion and the evidence is against you.

What evidence is that, exactly? Your anecdote? Your random assertion that any random on the street would agree with you? Besides, none of that even matters because you're using a very generous interpretation of one type of "identity theft" that may involve copying something and equating the concept of identity theft in its entirety to copyright infringement. They're two different sections of the law for a reason. They're not the same.

Shrug. They are the  same to me and the 15 people in my work place that I polled. You're kinda dealing only on your own opinion.

Nostalgia and flash back to the 1980s and 1990s an era of great Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Mario and Zelda games.

I doubt most people will get to buy it anyways since Nintendo will not produce enough to meet demand.

Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

I'm not getting it because it's cheap

Had it pre-ordered the moment it became available to pre-order. Along with the Atari 2600 Flashback 8 Gold, Sega Mega Drive Flashback Classic HD and soon I will pre-order the Xbox One X.

Christmas is going to be fun.

Would be good if the op would participate in his own thread instead of posting and running. :P
