Forums - Politics - CNN Producer: Russia Narrative "mostly bulls--t right now", is manufactured for ratings

To add to and clarify my earlier post, you incorrectly gave the definition for the adjective "lying", not the verb "lie" and present participle of that verb "lying".

As the saying, "who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?" demonstrates, the common usage of this adjective is not quite exactly the same as that of the verb anymore.  Clearly your own eyes cannot intentionally deceive you, but they can give you wrong or misleading information.

How do you feel about the 10 Trillion dollars Obama dug our hole deeper?  90% totally wasted on nothing but his reelection and Hillary election. In the way of give away programs to keep the Dem vote happy. Your grankids will be feeling that pain. All the Dem programs encourage poor people to breed more poor people/voters. These people polute more and make society [soon enough] unbearable. Tell your grannies about the way Dems let schools go down the tubes with their unions and no accountability to the most important job a society has. And Dems insisting on having illegal aliens make sure that nobody will 'do those jobs' because they pay so shitty because illegals will do them for 1/2 wages. Tell the grannies that in English and see if they even understand you...

CNN's rating are not so good anymore compared to the competition

So, the guy that went for years on end claiming that Obama wasn't american accuses others of Witch hunt.

Don't you sense hypocrisy in that?

Either way this isnt about the press, it's about Trump. The tweets aren't stories made up, nor are they suspicions. They are facts. Besides, on the other end of the spectrum fox does the same thing but in the opposite direction.
The difference i see is that CNN throws suspicion, fox and Trump's friends outright lie. That is why i think they are clearly worse.

When I can find a series of Fox News articles that openly popularized the idea of assissinating Obama the way that CNN has done with Trump I might consider buying that CNN's guilt is no worse than Fox during the Obama era:

http://www.wnd.com/2017/01/cnn-obama-appointee-could-be-prez-if-trump-killed/

I disagree, this has everything to do with the press as much as it does with Trump.  If the press stuck with reporting the news instead of political activism then you would have a point.  Furthermore, I think that it's really thin to say that CNN only throws "suspicion" when their own execs admit that the whole Russian narrative was baseless and they just ran with it:

http://projectveritas.com/2017/06/28/van-jones-russia-is-nothing-burger-american-pravda-cnn-part-ii/

Actions have consequences and the President is just showing with his tweets that he is not going to be bullied by a bunch of scumbags.  If Fox news or Trump were found to be intentionally lying about Obama's birth certificate then they would deserve the same treatment, proportional to the damage that they caused.  Of course, Obama's birth certificate scandal recieved nowhere near the coverage that the Russia narrative has recieved and as far as I know there were no major investigations launched against Obama like Trump has had to deal with on the Russia accusations and so the damage caused by these respective scandals aren't even in the same ballpark, imo.

I don't care if its real or not. I want the hate to continue. I want it to be full on rage. Because Trump is obsessed with it, and that's horrible for anyones mental health. Especially with a position as the President and at his age. If this continues the fat whale will have a heart attack. That or maybe the hate will inspire someone to kill him. How factual it is isn't the point. Trump's loyal cocksuckers wouldn't believe the truth if it bitch-slapped them anyway, nor would he. So him dying is really the only thing that matters. However, the longer it makes him suffer, the better. So if the hate the news is spewing is what it takes to make that come true, then by all means, let the hate flood more than it has

I agree. This filth must be taken out at any cost. Let the approval ratings continue to nose dive. He brought all of this on himself.

wait. wait. wait. The approval rating being reported by the same people currently being outed as knowingly pushing fake news? Those approval ratings.

I look for more concrete things. Such as Georgia 6th District congression election. The democrats dumped a record amount into that race at a point when the fake media insued Trump was at his lowest... and guess what. Osteen lost by the exact same percentage in that distract as Hilary lost to Trump in that district.

So at the least he is where he was back on Nov 8th. You know... when he won the election.

Trump was pushing the birther issue before he was in politics at all. He did not use it during his running this term. He was not up against Obama, so how would it help.

Also he did not come up with the birther. It was someone on Hillary Clinton's team back during the democratic primaries in 2008. He just ran with it and beat that horse way after it was dead.

They started a month before Hillary Clinton team wrongfully sent an email.

Trump was talking about politics in 2011, when he was pushing the birther issue.

Hillary's campaign started it in the 2008 primaries.

See here is an important distinction: Obama didn't start a war with said network. Trump did.

This is ALL on Trump for beeing unable to handle criticism and lowering the level. When you declare war, people fight back. Just so you know, because of trump many CNN journalists get death threats daily. It's not ok dude, you can't blame them for fighting back when they are attacked for doing their jobs.

As for the nothing burger. It isn't nothing. Otherwise there would be no investigation. We know for a fact that people from Trumps campaign had unregistered contacts with Russian officials. That is not nothing.

True that Trump gets riled up too much to the point that it is detrimental but don't go painting media as one to handle criticism well. Also Journalists do get death threats way before Trump was in check. You either show proof they weren't getting death threats before or you stop pinning this as "New Phenomenon" because of Trump.

Hillary's campaign started it in the 2008 primaries.

Clintons brought it up in April 2008, but even in March 2008 the birther thing was just beginning on conservative sites.

in March 2008 consevatives were focused on Romney vs McCain. Hilary thought she had it in the bag.... when Obama came out they went into throw any shit against the wall and see what sticks mode, and the birther stuff was just one of several they threw out there. This is also the time period the Obama is a muslem stuff was dredged out.

The reason Trump stated he was no longer a "birther" is because it would have been a politcal drag to do so. I personally believe that Trump still believes that Obama may not have been born in the US. Personally I am glad Obama is gone, at this point it no longer matters. Obama was the worst president in US history. He really made a fucking mess.

If you hate Trump, you can thank Obama that Trump got elected. Had Obama been even remotely competent the circumstances for Trump to be elected would not have existed.

There are plenty of polls that aren't run by news channels.  Why don't you look at them?

Oh, they don't agree with your preconceived notions?  Well I guess that company is just run by lying libtard NWO conspirators then.
