No, but every region has a separate ffxv trophy list (eu, usa, jp, asia)

hmm, isn't there 5 lists? Did China get a separate one too maybe? |
Yeah I think it's actually 5, I was midway through a dump when I was typing that.

You haven't seen the walking dead then? 100% of that plat is just playing the game, much shorter game too! |
Much easier too. Just press the button that shows up on the screen every few minutes and you're good to go!

I might try it if it didn't require yet another car modification. Well, I'm getting back to the game 'some time' to get the platinum trophy anyway, so I might try the Type-D then. But having it as a separate modification is just stupid, and IIRC it looks bad too.

I hate it, I completed one of the hard dungeons and died after when I crashed and I didn't save |
I guess I'm lucky I died because of it after an easy and relatively short dungeon. After it, I've been extremely careful to save after each dungeon and other big feats. I'm still wondering how the car could explode when taking off though...

That's really stupid. I'm guessing most of the regions don't even have different trophies, so I wonder why Sony's even allowing it. I really hate having two trophy lists for the same game. Journey, I'm looking at you...
Are those Timed Monster Quest back on? I stopped playing it when they stopped having that just before the Gladious DLC.
I'll probably play more of this once all the DLC are out.

It's actually pretty common for separate lists for Japanese games. Usually JP+western or JP+EU+NA. But SE apparently took it to the extreme this time. Sony would look awfully hypocritical if they didn't allow it though, considering what is probably the most infamous game for multiple trophy lists (Sound Shapes) was published by them. Personally, I wish they had started with multiple lists sooner. FFX is my #1 game of all time so the more times I can plat it the better, unforunately that only got 1 list though |
Yeah, I know Sony's not innocent either. I think multiple lists with identical content shouldn't be allowed at all, it's good for trophy farmers and potentially bad for everyone else. I don't mind people farming trophies but farming the same game several times goes too far in my opinion... And then there's the issue of having the same game on your trophy list several times, with each list item having a different completion percentage. I dread the possibility of getting the platinum trophy in a game where getting it is annoying, then having the same game appear a second time on my list with less trophies... Ugh! I don't mind going out of my way a bit to get a platinum, but I'm not liking the idea of getting the same trophies twice.
Then again, this is just another example of Sony being very sloppy with their whole network. Games are shown with all-caps names, their trophy sets can have names ranging from odd to ridiculous, Store can have literally the same games listed several times with no difference in content, and Store itself is painfully slow to use. And then there's this trophy thing.

How is it bad for everyone else? If you don't want 2 separate lists for the same game on your profile just don't buy two separate versions of the game from different regions And to be fair sometimes it is because of slightly different content within the game. eg. censored German/Australian versions always have separate lists. |
Like I said: Journey. I had it on PS3, then got it for free on PS4. Two different trophy lists for exactly the same game, just on different platforms. Having separate trophy lists for the same game is good only for trophy hunters, it offers no benefits for anyone else. However, it can have negative sides to it for non-trophy-hunter people, like I just demonstrated. It's just sloppy work on Sony's part.
Do the censored versions have different trophies (aside from localized names and descriptions)?

hmm, that's not so bad, at least from PS3 to PS4 it's a list for a different platform, that's gotta count for something right? As far as I'm aware all the censored versions have identical lists. Think the only way they'd change is if something in the list itself had to be censored which I doubt has been the case before. |
I see we have pretty different opinions about this.
No, doesn't count for anything to me. Cross-platform trophies are possible, they've happened in the past, the trophy lists are exactly identical as far as I can see, and even the games seem pretty identical to me (I guess a side-by-side comparison could reveal differences though, but content-wise, they're the same). Any time the lists are identical, except for localization, I think they should be one list and not more.

Yes, they were added again about two months ago, along with a leader board and items/weapons you can unlock with the credits you earn from the quests.

Is episode prompto short ? How long it took for you to finish.
OT: If this game gets a proper expansion DLC i will do it right now i dont care, i am playing another final fantasy , brave exvious on mobile, its way more fun than ff 15 xD Btw , they promised to fix story , they done it or not? |
Its about 2 hours without doing all the extras, it has side quests and a mini game. It's much better than episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto actually adds alot to the story and feels very necessary. Episode Gladiolus didn't really add anything important to the story at all, though having Cor the immortal with you was awesome.
