I live in Australia. Please do not be alarmed about the prices . This is a real case. Hey say you own both these consoles PS3 and XBox 360. You want a new game its just been launched, COD 4.  PS3 copy of COD 4 is priced at $110. The XBox 360 COD 4 is priced at $100. A $10 difference, its obvious you buy the cheaper XBox 360. I guess this happens a lot out there. Does anyone else notice a difference in pricing of games between these two consoles? Please tell us here.

Its a joke that they can get away with this because its ripping people off.

Isn't it the retailers choice?, or do sony have an official RRP for third parties? Cause in the UK it is officially £50 for a third party game on both platforms and £45 for a Sony game, but retailers can do what they want

The retailers do it I guess. they can charge you as much as they want. remember they get the games in bulk at discount rates.

It might be just an Australia/New Zealand thing where they know Sony is more popular and they can charge higher. these days you can put the name "Sony" on anything and it would sell. 

Yeah, this is getting ridiculous, there's no reason for the price difference.
