Wait till the holidays, you're getting Zelda, Splatoon 2, Arms, Mario Oddysey and Xenoblade 2. And that's just major first party releases. That's a fantastic first 10 months.

| NeroPrototype said: Based on what you guys said I looked at the fact that I will be buying more game for the Switch, even if the Ps4 has a big library... Most of them doesn't appeal to me... Ni no Kuni 2 is coming to PC too AFAIK and this will be my chance to try a Xenoblade game. Traditional Fighter should come sooner or later, I can be fine with Smash when it comes out (I'm just hoping for a Meele like Smash this time around.), while I wait I will be just playing in my computer and also my GF just told me something that may be true... Since the Ps4 is already 4 yrs old (HOLY FUCK!) The Switch will last me more once I buy it... Hoping that It gets to live until 2022-2023. Also she's bias since she likes Mario and the fact we can play together everywhere. You guys really helped me to decide, the most importat thing was "Games that I like the most" as fas as PS4 goes I only really want a handful while I'm pretty hyped for a bunch of Nintendo games coming... Besides havingh that portability with the Nintendo Switch is really something. CROSSING MY FINGERS I GET TO BUY ONE BEFORE AUGUST ENDS! |
Have you found your Switch yet?
Well if money is an issue in your country I would go the PS4, because their games always fall in value and you can pick them up cheap a few months after release.
Nintendo games as cool as they are they never drop in value.
So in the long run you will get more for the same amount of money spent.
If you one day become rich a true gamer would have it all.
OP already made up his mind last month (going by the earlier posts) so no point in responding to this thread anymore ...

There is also no such thing as a "True gamer". You are either a gamer. Or you are not.

What consoles have you previously owned?
If Nintendo, I would say go for the Switch.
If PlayStation? Go for PS4.
Personally, I think PS4 is the best bang for your buck, but the Switch has a lot of awesome games coming out soon.

A true gamer would own all systems.
Be like someone saying they are a true football fan and then only watching only one team play. True football fans watch every game they can every week. Sure they may cheer for one team or another, but they don't just stick to watching only those games.
Same for a "true" gamer. A true gamer would get every system in order to experience what each system has to offer. Not saying they need to buy every game, but only a liar would say that there isn't any exclusive games on every system that interest them.
Now finances can prevent one from being a "true" gamer.
