Are you really advocating deporting everyone that is merely a suspect? You really trust them with that much power?

Of course, we'll see users on here claiming the evil liberals are responsible for it all. Such a power cannot be trusted with anyone, especially our governments

OT- deporting anyone who's a suspect shows how paranoid you are. That's as ridiculous as beating up a man accused of rape. What if it's a false accusation? What if YOU were suddenly on the watch list and were arrested just like that?

Many of the attackers are born in their respective country. Where are you going to deport someone who was born in Germany? Can't just send them back to Asia or wherever they came from.

You can blame immigrants all you want. You can blame liberals, SJW's, the government, Muslims, feminists, and whoever the hell you also believe is responsible. Matter of fact is that these attacks WILL happen. No amount of surveillance or government power will ever change that.

You need to make sure they are integrated well into society.

You cant just let these muslims gather in flocks and make ghettos where they only speak their own language, never bothering to learn the one of the country their in. Where they dont get jobs and are unhappy.

A happy man doesnt do acts like these.

Then you need to keep a really good eye on all these gathering places of faith, where they teach this sick crap.

A good start would be stopping some of these people from returning after they've fought for ISIS in the middle east. That should be simple enough yet they not only let them back in but also lose track of them? Wtf?

I take it you're not a fan of fair trials or due process.  Unfortunately for people who detest such things, it is considered a basic human right to not be subject to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile, and civilized nations such as the UK recognize that being the subject of suspicion is not equivalent to being responsible.

If a man goes to fight for Isis charge for treason and throw thier ass in jail

Those stupid enough to provide evidence of their deeds should be put behind bars for good and the rest kicked out. With so many people fleeing from war and whatnot it's insulting to allow these maggots to return. They burned their chances big time. Unfortunately laws aren't in place to deal with this situation...

You know they DO arrest a lot of people before these attacks happen. A lot of these attacks are instigated by people born in Belgium so you can't deport them (you can't deport someone with the same nationality). So yeah, it's NOT that easy.

And, pff, what an amateur.

At least there is this one positive thing about all these recent terror attacks - they're all very small and amateuristic.

Would be even better if these people can deport us from their country just as easy, right along with our war machines.

Thats a good thing.

If cops can catch these people or disarm them, before they do any harm, the better.

Of course, just wondering how much of an idiot he could be. The Central Station is full of soldiers. The Belgian Army might be small, but it's no joke, running at them screaming with a bomb jacket is sure to get you shot before you get very far.

That's seriously what he did? Ran screaming at a bunch of soldiers with a bomb jacket? Wow... what a smart guy, unprecedented planning right there!

Looking at the picture and at the newspaper. He first had a smaller bomb detonate, probably to cause confusion and then he supposedly screamed "Alahu Akbar" but the soldiers reacted immediatly and neutralized him. The first bomb didn't wound anyone.

huh, well too bad all terrorists can't plan things out that poorly.

Out of interest though, is it normal to have soldiers at train stations in Belgium? Or were they there because they already anticipated some kind of attack or something?

Since the terror threat began, the police forces in Brussels have been re-enforced by the military. They've been there for about a year now. They're mainly concentrated in sensitive areas (Central Station, European and Belgian Parliament, Royal Palace, American Embassy (that place is a near fortress)).
