Disagree, for isntance Zelda BotW, MK8D, ARMS and Splatoon2 combined will take around 25GB from 150GB if you have 128GB card combined with Switch internal memory. So no, you don't need to go physical with Switch, except if you want to go all digital and to buy plenty of games.
