It will release on the Switch, it was already officially announced. Its just not releasing simultaniosly, for some reason.I expect a 3 or 4 month difference betwenn the releases. |
Have they announced which version?

Not a single DragonQuest has ever been ported to the PC. Just buy a Switch or a PS4.
I'll be getting this for the Switch for sure. The graphics difference isn't going to be very big since it's an anime art style, and the portability aspect is great.

I have both. They haven't released a main line DQ since they made DQH, which they ported to PC. So precedence doesn't really matter. The chance for a PC port are pretty good actually.

DragonQuest VII, and VIII were released after Heroes, and they didn't get a PC port.

Those were ports from old games with low quality assets. DQXI was built from the ground up for PS4, like DQH. I don't see a reason not to port it eventually.

Disgaea and Tales of Symphonia both got ports despite being low quality. PC is chok full of games with low quality assets. They probably won't port it over because the bulk of Dragonquest's audience is Japan. In the west the bulk of the audience is Nintendo handheld gamers.

No, but as Nuveldil said, it is almost certain thtas the PS4 version
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Again, you said switch version will release 3 or 4 months later. I'm asking if they've announced the release date because you seem to know when it comes out?
