Forums - Sales - Xbox 360 On The Skids Retailers Consider Dumping It (Australia)

A. The country is selling like 3-5k units of consoles a week, so it really doesn't matter either way.

B. Half the article is a SCEA spokesman quoted, while no MS spokemen are quoted. And none of the retail chains are named. Other than that it sounds like quality objective and sourced journalism.

The big revelation in this story is that software will drive console sales? No duh. But then it says that Blu-ray is the driving factor. Is it software or hardware? The article can't even make up its mind. Ugh.

The story is garbage designed to drive traffic and Australia is irrelevant to overall sales. Pointless.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

Around the Network

Anyone else getting sick of this guy?  Ever since he got spanked over his false Vista information and had to take down his article it's like he has it in for Microsoft.  And he never seems to learn from his mistakes as shown by his Blu-Ray 360 comments he attributes to "industry insiders" dispite the fact that Microsoft has now repeatedly come out to say the claim is wrong and his sources have been wrong in the past.

I kind of wish his website would just go back to plagiarizing other people's articles (or the mystery hacker would anyways.).  Take a look for yourself at a program which exposed it (also go to the page and read the comments under the video):
