Just wanna know what you guys think about the quality of the game.

I'm not a FIFA gamer, at all. But I was curious in how this version of the game will turn out on the Switch. And all I can say from these videos is that if EA really tries, they can deliver a solid product.

The faces of the people look quite artificial, though, due to nearly nonexistent eye movements.

But other than that, I got no complaints.

What do you think?

Best portable FIFA that has ever existed

The game is censored on switch-console, by EA. Less content and so.
This is stupid -.- Whoever buys it is itself to blame. Maybe EA thinks the Nintendo fans do not inform themselves?

As far as know, The Journey mode. But, it's not a big deal imho.

The Journey mode and that it's not running off the Frostbite engine, which tbh is fine.

It's a lose-lose situation for Switch gamers honestly.
1) If they don't buy the game EA can cite poor sales as a reason to abandon their support for the Switch and not make any games.
2) If the game sells well then EA will think they can continue to make ports of their games with less features and such.

Either way graphics have never particularly mattered to me, as long as the game runs in 60fps and at least 720p it can look like a gamecube game for all I care if the gameplay is good.

Or you mean it has less content? Then its not censor, its content cut

And Switch has portability going for it, that the PS4 version dosent have.So EA has censored the PS4 version too?

I still think that the PS4 is the better version if you are serious about football, but the Switch version is a decent effort.Dont be like this.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

So, it's just the story mode powered by frostbite that is missing, because it uses a custom built engine for Switch.

What I've read/heard is that it runs 1080p 60fps docked and 720p 60fps undocked. So, more than ideal for the Switch.

Agreed, personally I appreciate the work that EA has done to get FIFA on the Switch, even if doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the other versions do. Maybe it *could* have had Frostbite engine and the Journey if they really worked at it, but at the end of the day my viewpoint is still -- The best portable FIFA experience ever > No FIFA
