I typically don't mind phil spencer, and often times respect the things he says; but, this seems very hypocritical. I mean, he is complaining about this, yet thinks it was perfectly fine to pay for a year of exclusivity for rise of the tomb raider? That's an entire game.

And dead rising four. Looks like capcom can no longer afford to take Microsofts money for sole exclusivity of dead rising

So explain to me how paying for a 1 year full content exclusivity making the game sell less help the developer more than a small portion of the game being exclusive for life and not making it sell less but getting extra money.

It's pointless.  As I have seen, people do not look at the choice of words but instead fill in the gaps with their opinion.  If the developer/ publishers had confidence in the properly to sell a certain amount on the other console, they would not do the deal.  It's business.  Why do people think everything is relative.  The time, money and resources doing multiple ports cost money as well.  Since the game still releases, did they lose any money or did they make some.  Did the marketing money pay for PS development who knows.  I guess if they do another deal would say it worked out.
