From what I read on some forum, the reason ps4 pro isn't able to run destiny at 60 fps is due to the CPU and according to some, xbox one X CPU isn't that great either. I could be wrong though.

Yeah I heard that switch CPU is more powerful than ps4pro. I don't know about that but it's definitely more powerful than ps4

Forced PS4 Pro and Xbox One X parity between games shot down by Sony

Sony says it’s not forcing parity between PS4 Pro and Xbox One X games despite rumors. Find out more as the debate continues to rage about which console is superior.

Sony’s global head of marketing and sales has denied claims that the company is forcing parity between PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X games.

Speaking during an interview with Eurogamer, Jim Ryan was quizzed if the hardware giant was telling publisher specifically to maintain visual performance between both consoles, after news hit that the Xbox One X version of Destiny 2 would run at 30fps---the same frame rate as its PS4 Pro counterpart.

Destiny developer Bungie had previously said that the PS4 Pro lacks the necessary horsepower to run its sci-fi shooter at 60fps. The Xbox One X, however, packs significantly more power under its hood, leading many to believe that it would have been able to run the game at a higher frame rate than Sony’s high-end console. While that’s not the case, it’s not down to Sony.

Not to my knowledge. Take the Destiny deal. The Destiny deal was actually done in February 2013, right? We hadn’t launched PS4. I might be wrong because great minds are at work in far-flung corners of Tokyo and San Mateo, but I don’t think anybody even thought of PS4 Pro at this stage. So, I think you’re trying to see some sort of nefarious platform-holder activity where likely none exists,” said Ryan.

The deal that Ryan is referring to is of course the timed-exclusivity partnership with Activision and Sony, which brings a range of Destiny and Destiny 2 content to the PS4 a year before any other format. Destiny 2, for example, will boast a range of extras such as new maps, weapons, ships, and an exclusive strike.

Microsoft fully unveiled its latest home console during E3 earlier this week, confirming the 4K-powered machine will launch on November 7, priced at $499/£449. The format holder wasted no time in taking a few shots at its competitor, claiming the PS4 Pro is not a competitor to its high-end system, but rather the Xbox One S.

We weren’t particularly impressed with Spencer’s words though, suggesting he is disingenuous for trying to compare the two consoles. Xbox One S, for one, does not support 4K gaming, only video; furthermore, the Xbox One X will also utilise the same checkerboard rendering and dynamic resolution trickery that PS4 Pro has employed since launch.

Sony held its own press conference on Monday evening, where it later admitted to holding back on new game announcements. Nonetheless, we got another spectacular glimpse at its 2018 slate, including God of War, Spider-Man, Days Gone, and Detroit: Become Human.

Im sure if xbonexxx is so magnificent craftmansift like digital foundry say, it will be run the games on more fps from ps4 pro, If  is not locked at 30.  Ps4 boost mode helps a lot on some games so i don't see why xb can't do the same.

But the big news here is Sony has more exclusives that didn't show!!! i Belive if MS xboxxx was releasese now for 399, we are see those new  announcements on SONY E3, It was abivous that something cut of

"I'm gonna struggle to not get myself in trouble on this one," he said. "I'll just say: I don't know anything about other development deals. You mentioned some things around clauses and stuff that I don't know anything about. But if anybody was to do a deal to hold back technical innovation on a video game anywhere else, that doesn't feel good for the industry to me."

Going off of this portion of the interview, what exactly did you find objectionable? Where does he mention Sony here?

Don't go off just that portion then, read the interview. The entire thing is about forcing parity and how the Xbox is better spec wise so it should play multiplats better. I'm pointing out that we have had situations in the past where multiplats ran better on the xb1s despite being less powerful than ps4 og. We've also seen pro support all over the place, and that's had nothing to do with parity. It's because the devs are lazy. It's absurd the way Spencer talks about this like its something that might happen in a two console race when he's only now grabbing the power advantage. They don't have to directly mention PlayStation In the hypothetical scenarios when there's no one else they could be talking about (but, in this interview, he does actually mention how the ps4 systems only compete against the xb slim family)

A little common sense and people would realize that even if the Xbox one x could run the game at 60 fps, it wouldn't make sense for them to do it as it would create balancing issues between Xbox one x plays and normal Xbox one players. People just need to think before they start making up rumors...

What exact portions of the interview did you find most objectionable?

The Xbox community have shit their brains out this whole week. From mine craft crossplay to this shit. Just disregard the fact that crack down 3 on X1 is also 30fps. Did Sony pay the Crackdown 3 devs in this situation. Or is it more likely that the Scorpio have been hyped and now it turns out its not as great as MS made it out to appear?
