Their absence really disappointed me, I was hoping we´d learn at least a tiny bit about their 'dark action rpg' they´re working on.

I wasn't expecting anything, and I don't think From Software ever said anything that'd indicate that we should, either. If I was hoping for a From game, it definitely would have been King's Field V, though!! But I don't think they'll ever go back to that franchise.
