On topic: This mod looks cool, it's just kind of sad that the Sony Patrol had to roll in and try to make graphical compaisons and/or sideswipe MP1 on the Gamecube. It wasn't until the actual comparisons started that I realized how...off the Samus mod was. There's a strange lack of detail in certain areas, and some other abnormalities like blockiness or sharp edges on portions of Samus that are supposed to be smooth. Yes, it looks good for a mod, but the second you try to pass this off as better than the MP3 or SSBB models your argument starts to drift off into Fail Land. |
He said that MP 1-2 sucked because they werent using the wii mote, and that the wii mote was the most superior FPS controller. Wii bias can only go that far. |
No, I believe the exact post was "with dual analog FTL." Neither MP1 or MP2 are dual analog, therefore neither game should have been brought up since it doesn't actually apply to them. Doing so requires a bit of ignorance (intentional or not) and a set of straws. For grasping.
Onimusha got banned because, as DMeisterJ said, he was "itching" for one.
I'm sorry but that's one of the most retarded things I've ever heard.
As ioi said, bans are a serious thing, hence the banning of ban bets. As such I'd hope something that constitutes a ban wouldn't be as vague and open to interpretation as "itching for one." As I see it, the only way Onimusha could have been banned was because "HE'S BEING MEEN 2 ME!!1" He may bea little overzealous with putting certainusers in his place, but considering that it's quite his nature ad that this thread is literally open flamebait, I'm not really surprised. I will simply assume that this was a bullshit ban as there are far worse users that post worse things on a daily basis that would require mod powers than a simple argument Onimusha had over Wii controls. An argument started started as "TO THE RESCUE!!" flamebait generated from ignorance to begin with.
