You forgot Super Lucky's Tale, but yeah other than that I think you pretty much mentioned everything.

Sony has console and Nintendo has the handheld/hybrid market.

MS has no real foot in anything tbh. No reason to own an X1, steam>>>>>MS store, and they have nothing in the mobile market. I guess steam uses Windows OS, but that does not say much as far as actual games go.

Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-5643-2927-1984

It was clear MS decision to talk only about games that have a close launch date - up to March 2018 - would get this type of reaction.

Realistic there is no Sony exclusive to be revealed this E3 that will come out this year. The best hope would be Bloodborne 2 that could come out early next year.

The biggest one is God of War 5(?), GT 7(?) is also possible. Other that those we have only japanease games that are console exclusives because reasons, and some few second parties.

That's been Microsofts direction for quite some time at E3, mostly showcase the holiday lineup.

They've been burned showing games too early like Below, Quantum Break, Fable Legends, Scalebound etc...

Some people  want to tout massive lists of games with no release dates for years for fanboy wars purposes. Look how far out FF Remake is ...and that supposedly won E3 years ago?

MS could've done a better job by throwing some more logs and entertaining those folk with a few more projects in development

But they seem focused as a company on short term marketing and rebuilding their Independent Developer relations and strengthening the business side of the platform.

Can someone explain what 'Xbox One Console Launch Exclusive' means?

It means MS can't pay AAA timed exclusives anymore so they have started targeting indie devs.

Yeah timed exclusive indies are now a thing, timed exclusives are the worst type of game deals.

Let me guess how MS E3 2018 will go: they will start with Forza Horizon 4, announce Xbone X price cut to $399, new console colors and bundles, dedicate the entire middle section to 3rd parties and indies, maybe announce a small exclusive for Spring 2019, and just when the conference is about to end, "one more thing to show u", ends up being Halo 6, November 2018.

What are you talking about? You clerly can't read. I said there conference wasn't perfect, I gave it a 6. You've been following me around today so you should know that.

Cuphead, F7, State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves, Ori 2, Crackdown 3. Some people do like those games news flash.

Embarrassing. For one, I actually haven't been following you, I just saw you somewhere else downplay the lack of exclusives, I read nothing else you said so I don't know that you said it wasn't perfect.

Where did I say that people don't like those games? LOL, you say I made a assumption, which I actually really didn't, you just assumed I read everything you said today, which I didn't, so assumption of you right there but not only that, but also that I said people didn't like those games. I am complaining about the lack of new announcements, not only that, but the show was 95% about multiplats and indies.

And since you  obviously didn't read what I said about the part you edited, I'll say it again, you say it's about the general public? But it actually isn't, this console isn't for the general public, the Xbox One S is, even Microsoft have said it themselves. You should honestly stop talking, obviously this conference has gotten you worked up since you're just flaming right now.

Ehh it's fine. My original point was the lack of exclusives for MS doesn't really have that much impact as vgc consensus gives them. My original point was Xbox has the multiplats while PS has the same xclisives. It's been like that throughout this whole gen. I think some of my post got mixed up with general population having to buy Xbox one x which I should have restated they won't) I was mostly talking about Xbox one in general (or I wanted to, but didn't explain well). Those games shown could be bought on any X1 console. They are exclusives.

Could they have shown more? Absolutely. I'm trying to say exclusives aren't the number one thing people want.

You might Ben quite surprised. Sony doesn't have to release much more after clobbering nier automata, nioh, horizon zero dawn and persona 5. This is one of the worst exclusive based massacres I've ever seen. Sony just needs to close out the year with two major exclusives from first pArty and anything else from third party. We already know spider man. Is coming so don't be surprised if Sony sneaks one more major exclusive into 2017

Well it's only fair.
Sony has dynamic 4K with true exclusives vs MS has true 4K with dynamic exclusives!

Honestly we all knew what was coming from Microsoft. So this is not surprising.

I came into this thread thinking Vivster's Ubisoft joke was the best thing I read all day.  Then I saw this!
