about crackdown 3 - it;s your opinion. for me the game looks really good.

"So you get a Xbox One X, and the only exclusive that ll really show off its power, is Forza 7."

and what about multiplats?

Multiplats are made for the lowest common denominator.

They need to play and run well on everything, so the differnce between any one system wont be gigantic.

We ll see Digital foundry videos that show minor differnces between PS4pro & Xbox One X, at some point.

Differnces wont be that big, deminishing returns at higher resolutions from just bumping up the resolution.

I thought that was clear by now. Multy plats will show almost no diference between consoles, like you ssaid made for the lowest comon denominator. Only exclusives will really show what a console can do. And sadly, the exclusives shown where underwhelming, aside from forza, but thats not a demanding game to beging with.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Idk how objective I should try to be, so I gave it a 5. They leaned pretty hard on indie games which were a bit hit or miss. Metro will probably be good but I'm tired of the canned gameplay shit. It's like they use tool-assisted play to demonstrate the slowest and most boring possible play style in the interest of making it look more cinematic.

we will see. as for now I'm happy.

Oh i should add that while i think it was their best effort, scripted trailers/gameplay do nothing for me. They are just smoke and mirrors and just tell me the developers/publishers aren't confident in the final product.

This isn't just a MS thing though.

lets be honest. a 2/10 at best.

Really?, can i ask why?.

I thought it was a decent press conference, they had 22 console exclusives and yeah while the majority arent AAA system sellers they still looked pretty fun (State of Decay 2, Sea of Thieves and Ori looked pretty great), they anounced OG Xbox backwards compatibility and overall had a good showing.

in the cons i guess i would put the price of the Scorpio being higher than what most people wanted it to be, and the fact that (at least in my opinion) i didnt saw any game that really made me want a Scorpio, the best game of the show for me was Anthem and thats a multiplat so... there is that.

I would rate it arround a 6 or 7.

EDIT: Forget it, i found the answer.

4. I couldn't believe how disappointed i was in this conference. I wasn't even really expecting much, and i enjoyed most of their others this generation. But many games looked similarly dull, or dated (state of decay and sea of thieves felt sparse, especially in comparison to Anthem).

And what actually pissed me off the most was the "Xbox console launch exclusive" thing. What does that even mean? Why change the phrasing from "first on Xbox?" And the worst part was that the voice-over only read the word "exclusive" out loud.

Exactly man. I bought a Pro for exclusive games and Horizon as well as The Show 17 are incredible on Pro. TLG and Gravity Rush both look and feel great too but HZD is on another level. The game is breath taking. MS does not have a game on that level to push Scorpio. Then with games like Death Stranding, Uncharted LL, GOW, Spiderman and TLoUP2, the Pro is better value and cheaper. MS does not produce games of that quality. They never did and just buys franchises.

Listening to the Youtube stream, sounds like Sumo are doing most of the dev on Crackdown now, dev issues? Not one mention of the cloud either...

Yeah, them not showing the destruction or the cloud was quite unexpected. If the game wasn't set for November 7th I'd be worried

Stop with the console exclusive crap. A game is either exclusive or not exclusive. There is no in between. Solid games but all are on PC, some will go to PS4, none make Xbox stand out, none show the power of XBX and it made Windows 10 look better than Xbox since you can play Steam games on PC along with W10 ames.
