Well, we have a mere 6 and a half hours. I'm not sure if I believe it but either way, we're going to find out.

You do realize Sony has marketing rights to Battlefront 2, so you won't hear about Scorpio's resolution?

Also this:

" Internal Scorpio developer documentation we've seen describes how well Microsoft's console manages to run the most basic of ports of key Xbox One titles. The names of the games aren't specifically mentioned, but one example stands out - it's described as a 60fps first-person shooter that has shipped using the DX12 API, running on a proprietary engine and rendering at 720p resolution. By a process of elimination, this sounds like Star Wars Battlefront - a Frostbite title - and the data is fascinating. Based on GPU performance alone - CPU isn't included in the data - the unoptimised Scorpio port running at the same resolution could hit 120 frames per second. But at native 4K, it's only 36-40fps. "

Worth pointing out that Battlefront 2 is bigger, more demanding than last one.

Expect 1440p very high or maybe ultra details.

That would be still 4x the resolution + higher details, which sounds much more likely than 4K.

36-40 fps umomptimised at native 4K is still very, very impressive. Thanks for the read.

Nobody is saying it isn't impressive, but it's still far below 60 and Battlefront is 60 fps title.

I don't think optimization can help reach 24 more frames on average.

Don't expect GTX 1080 or GTX 1080 Ti Performance.

Oh, I'm not. Just expecting good bang for buck performance and quite a few native 4k AAA titles. Like assassin's Creed. Are you going to be watching the ms presser?

Yes, of course I watch them all except Bethesda which is at 6 AM my time.

It is 10 pm for me. I don't know if I want to watch. I expect this E3 to either be great or terrible.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

So SEED (a internal skunkworks at Electronic Arts ) which was established to pursue cutting-edge advancements for use in games..... is doing their job by useing the newest console? Wow... totally thread worthy.

Hory Shet, I just realised he's created 731 threads, but he only has 3493 posts.

1 in 6 of his posts are from creating new threads.

I dont do forum pvp anymore where people are just going back and forth debating a topic.

Once I hear what I have to say there is really nothing else to discuss.

Oh ok...  though most of your posts are articles, so it's not really you saying anything anyway.

I still have no idea what SEED even is, it's like EA were trying to say how revolutionary it'd be without even saying what it was.

It's EA saying they will finally start looking for what makes games great. It's a bit late but good on them for trying.
